Hello Grace Church,

Merry Christmas! What a great day! This morning, we were blessed to have a Christmas Brunch hosted by our American Heritage Girls Troop. What a wonderful program, and the food was delicious too. I am so proud of these young people and their leaders. The Lord is blessing us in many different ways! What a tremendous time of the year to turn our hearts heavenward! Luke 1:35 says (NKJV) And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”

Tomorrow’s message is entitled, “Isaiah 7:14… A Message for Today.” Yes, it’s a message for today rooted in the Old Testament teachings regarding the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus! The implications of Jesus’ virgin birth are both profound and practical! The key verse is Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and shall call His name Immanuel. Thank you for praying as we prepare to enjoy God’s Word together! Invite a friend to hear the Word of God with you! Sunday evening at 6:00 PM our Grace Church Choir will present “Silent Night.” You will enjoy the music and the singing! I love Christmas music. What a great time of the year to magnify the Lord together! A reception will follow. Please bring a dessert and an appetizer. It’s going to be a special day all around!

The Christmas season opens many doors of opportunity to share our faith. Seize those opportunities that the Lord gives you to tell others about Him. The Lord wants to use us to win others to Himself. Psalm 126:5-6 Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Look for open doors! Ask the Lord to go before you and He will!

Again, thank you for your prayers! Pray, trust the Lord, and see what He does! Luke 1:34-35 (NKJV) Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” 35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Christmas Blessings!
