Hello Grace Church!

It’s been a wonderful day! Now it’s raining outside. God is so gracious by blessing us with these summer showers! HE IS GOOD! Here are a few prayer requests: Chuck and Judy Barber as they begin a new season of life together, Sharon Jordan hip surgery, Patricia Colston physical needs (Jessica Richardson’s mother), Mary Tyson moved into her new house after a fire destroyed her old one a year ago, Larry Farrell recovering at home, the family of Virginia Ligon (She passed away earlier this week), families traveling, and for those needing healing. We can all be thankful that our Lord hears and answers our prayers.

Tomorrow we will receive Communion together. These are special times as we gather for confession of sins and renewal in the Spirit. Jesus told us to “Do this in remembrance of Me.” Be in your place and let’s trust the Lord for an awesome time of praise and worship together. The message is taken from Matthew 22:34-40. It is entitled “The TRUTH about LOVE.” Matthew 22 is filled with conflict and confrontations between Jesus and the religionists of His day. There are some huge lessons that come from these verbal battles between the Lord and His adversaries. Beginning Sunday evening at 5:15PM Pastor Jamin will begin a study from JOB entitled, “Trusting God in Difficulties.” DON’T MISS IT! These are important days for us as followers of Jesus. In Matthew 5:16 Jesus gives us these words of encouragement! Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Lastly, our AWANA CLUBS here at Grace Church begin in a few weeks. We have a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT that we will share in our Worship Service tomorrow. Pray for David and Kristin Stahl and their ministry team as they prepare for this year’s edition of AWANA! WHAT A GREAT MINISTRY! Let’s all do our part to reach families with the Gospel of Christ.
