Hello Grace Church!
Yesterday Cheryl and I went to Wilmington for the Memorial Service of Joyce Ann Ward. I was saved at GBC in 1968 while Joyce joined GBC in the early 60’s. She was a faithful member there for over 60 years. We were blessed when we saw the crowd of folks that paid respect to their sister. Joyce was in her 80’s, and yet she was loved and appreciated by her church family. Joyce made a difference for Jesus’ sake. Let me encourage you to be faithful both to the Lord and to His house. Admittedly, these are challenging days. Let’s join together and let our lives reflect our love for Jesus and His church. I love you and appreciate each of you. I enjoy our time together in worship. I hope to see you tomorrow.
PRAYER REQUESTS: Johnnie Willis, Doug Weber, Roger Thorpe, Jerry Long, Garrett, Amber all physical needs, Joyce Ward family bereaved, missionaries of GC, services tomorrow, some dealing the flu and covid, those that need to be saved, preaching and teaching of God’s Word in the AM and PM services. We rejoice with you in the answers to our prayers. The LORD is good!
Our message for the Morning Worship Service is taken from Jeremiah 1:1-10. These Scriptures deal with Jeremiah’s call as a prophet. Judah was in rebellion against the Lord and His Word. Judgment was ahead! Jeremiah was broken over their condition before the Lord. I appreciate your prayers as I prepare to share God’s Word tomorrow. Bring a friend or two with you to our services! If you’ve been missing a friend or member of Grace Church, call them and let them know you miss seeing them.
