Hello Praying Friends!

What a beautiful day! The Lord has truly blessed us all! Think of the liberty and freedom that we enjoyed today. Let’s be careful how we view it. God has blessed our nation. He has smiled upon us. We must keep our eyes focused upon Him! With so many distractions around us, it’s so easy to take our eyes off of the Lord and to dial up our circumstances. Let’s pray over everything as Paul told the Philippians. Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Let’s band together and pray, and seek the face of God. With the Texas school shootings in mind, let’s pray for every grieving family. It’s hard to even imagine their grief, so let’s kneel with them in prayer.

As you know, this is Memorial Day weekend. Please join me as I pray for our country. The high cost of our freedom is before us. I’m praying for the leaders in our nation. We should do that as instructed in the Scriptures. Join me… I’m praying about that before I go to bed tonight.

Here are some other prayer requests: Pat Hoffman, David Stahl, Willie Wilkins, David Buda, Janet Tripp, Janice Wood, Beverly Myers, people to be saved, church to be strengthened, wisdom in making godly decisions, folks to become part of our church family through membership, our missionaries around the world, Lynn Farrell, Zain Revels, Damian (Navy), Neal Nydam, our graduates and teen campers. I know you have others for our list. Praise the Lord for His goodness and bless Him for faithfully answering our prayers. Psalm 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Tomorrow we are recognizing our 2022 graduates. Pastor Chuck will call out their names during our Morning Worship Service. They’ve all worked had this year. They deserve to be honored! As you know, this is always a special time for some of our families. They will enjoy the service, I’m sure.

God bless you and yours!
