Dear Grace Church Family and Friends,
THANK YOU for your faithfulness to the Lord and His work at Grace Church. The Lord is using you in a wonderful way to bring glory to His name by spreading the Good News of the Gospel! Recently I shared with you the needs within our Faith Promise Missions ministry and you responded. THANK YOU again for your faithfulness in giving. You have an awesome track record! When you know the need, you respond. I am so proud of you. The Lord has brought us all together to give in support of His work here in Greenville and around the world. Without your financial help much of what we do would be impossible. You’ve heard the phrase, “Many hands make light work.” Let me share a brief edit of that quote, “When many people give it makes supporting missions easier!” Here’s what I know and believe. The Lord honors faithfulness in missions’ giving. Thank you for your partnership in the Lord’s work. It brings great joy to the heart of God to see His church engaged in the spreading of the Gospel. God bless you!
Recently we received this note from Gospel Fellowship Missions. Clay and Danielle Gibbons are represented by this mission’s agency. The agency writes, “The concept of love has been described in many ways, and the necessity of demonstrating it selflessly is vital in all relationships. There is no question that love is both the ‘glue’ that holds ministry teams together and the ‘lubricant’ that makes ministry outreach effective. We are grateful for the love you have shown to us through the generosity of your gift and pray that God will bless you richly for demonstrating the greatest gift of all – love!” You have supported Clay and Danielle [four children] since their first day in West London at Salem Baptist Church. How important is that? Remember this… we are in this together. Supporting missionary families is a team sport! No one person has the responsibility for supporting our missionary team. We do that together! THANK YOU!
In closing, just today Cheryl and I had the privilege of having lunch with a young lady who has committed the next two years of her life to discipling college students in their relationship with Jesus Christ. What a thrill to hear her story! The Lord has called her to disciple university students at UNC. She is giving to others what someone else gave to her. I love supporting young people like her. Let’s do this together and reach our world for Christ! God bless you!
For His Glory!
