Dear Praying Friends!

I trust this note finds you enjoying your Saturday! I thank the Lord for using you this past week. Opportunities abound with so many things happening all around us. The Lord promises us His strength as we reach out to touch others for Him! Bearing the burdens of loved ones and friends requires more strength than we can muster. When the Lord leads us into service opportunities we can trust Him for the strength to get the job done. Let Philippians 4:13 (ESV) touch your heart…I can do all things through Him who strengthens me

Recently I received this note from James Byakika with Source of Light in Uganda. Each Month SLM Uganda continues to advance its mission of making disciples for Christ in the schools, churches and communities. Through SLM programs we have seen many lives changed for the better and getting prepared for heaven. Praise God! This month [May 2021] 165 souls were saved for Christ. We also enrolled 150 new students who are reading/studying the SLM lessons. One other note from James… his brother also died with covid. Please keep James and his family in your prayers. Most of our missionaries continue to serve with covid related ministry issues. The UK, Kenya, Japan and others have shared some of their struggles. Thank you again for giving to support these and others through our Faith Promise Missions Ministry. There continues to be a significant need for support in our missions work. You can give online at gracechurchnc.com. Know this, whatever you give will be deeply appreciated and used only for our missions ministries [local and abroad]

Tomorrow I will share from Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 “God is in the Details.” Habakkuk is definitely a unique prophet with some challenging ideas. I’ve never preached from Habakkuk so I’m finding it very interesting to say the least! Thank you praying as I preach these messages. They are so applicable to almost everything happening in our churches and in our country.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Thank you again for being my prayer partners and for serving the Lord as our Lord of Lords and King of Kings!
