Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you for praying! Earlier today I sent out an email blast and attached it to the Pastor’s Page on our gracechurchnc.com website. Please take a minute or two and read through it. It appears that many restrictions from Covid are being removed. That is a good thing. Most of our congregation is back with us at some level. Our FBLive services continue weekly. The Lord uses it every week! I am so thankful that none of our people were hospitalized during the pandemic, and that those who had Covid are better now! The Lord is good!
Tomorrow’s message is taken from Proverbs 14:34. I was studying Jeremiah 1 for this Sunday, but the Lord shut the door on that text and brought me back to Proverbs 14. I have never preached on this passage before, but I have certainly thought about it. It is definitely an enlightening verse for sure. Hopefully we will all learn some things from it.
As for Memorial Day, take a few minutes to thank the Lord for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. As I wrote earlier today, YOUTUBE has some great videos about the founding of Memorial Day. I’ve posted two on my Facebook page. I’ve shared similar videos with my grandchildren. I hope you will do the same!
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Enjoy your weekend and be safe. If you are traveling, drive safely. I hope to see you soon. Know this, you are loved! Jesus loves you, and so do I! The Lord is always with you!
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
