Dear Praying Friends,
What a huge blessing to know that we are all in this together. What a privilege is ours… we can pray and share our blessings and our burdens with our Lord. He hears, and He cares! Sometimes we share things with others and we do not truly know for sure that they actually care about us. Thank the Lord, we know He cares. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. Absolutely, our heavenly Father cares us. His will for us is perfect… through prayer we join Him. Thank the Lord for His Spirit… Romans 8:26 (KJV) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Aren’t you thankful for the ever present Spirit with you as a child of God? Tearful and wordless prayers are heard as well. Broken people can pray and be heard! God’s Spirit assists us as we pray! What a blessing to be able to pray!
This message will bring us all face to face with our own prayer lives. Honestly, I need this Word from the Lord. I trust you will agree with me. Prayer is absolutely essential for the life of Christ within me and you! John 15:26 (KJV) But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: What a joy to have access to our Lord. His throne of grace is our altar of appeal. Our petitions are always welcome in heaven. Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. PRAY! I’ll join you!
Let’s seek the Lord together as they did in the early church. Acts 1:13-15 (KJV) And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,
Praying with you!
