Dear Praying Friends!
Thank the Lord for answered prayers! Earlier today I shared the Word of God with my family and friends at my brother Greg’s Memorial Service. There is no higher privilege that to share God’s Word with friends and family. Greg passed away unexpectedly just over one week ago. Our hearts are broken for sure. At the same time, we all know that he loved Jesus and was ready to be with the Lord. My youngest brother Terry and my brother Eddie shared as well. My heart was stirred as they shared with everyone the joys of knowing Greg. The Lord brought us all together for His purposes. We were blessed to be brothers, and blessed with the parents of the Lord’s choosing! I love my brothers and thank the Lord for them. Greg will be missed. I’ll see him again in the presence of Jesus!
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day! I have chosen Psalm 46 to share with our church family! Psalm 46 includes eleven verses jam packed with truth regarding God’s sovereignty. What a powerful word… sovereignty! There is no powerful on earth or in heaven that equals the power of our Heavenly Father. We are all safe in His almighty hands. He watches over His children! He holds us all in the palm of hand! What a mighty God we worship. I can’t wait to get together with God’s people and to acknowledge His Lordship over each of us. Romans 8:31 (KJV) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? I have never felt more secure in Christ than at this very moment! I trust that you have the same assurance. Folks, this life is short! In less than a blink of the eye we could be in His presence! Think about that!
Again, your love and prayers always make a difference. The Lord loves to hear us pray. He loves to answer our prayers as well. Rest in Him and let Him give you peace! Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Revelation 22:20-21 (KJV) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Pray and expect your Heavenly Father to answer you!
