Adam Matthew Meshaw Memorial Service ~ Sunday, July 19-2020

Dear Grace Church Family and Friends,

It has been almost two weeks since the unexpected passing of our youngest son, Adam Mathew Meshaw. Needless to say these have been the toughest days of our lives. The grief and pain of such a loss is overwhelming, more so than we knew was possible. The love and support for us has been equally as powerful. Our deepest pain has been met by God’s amazing grace. Many of you have called us, texted us, emailed us and ministered to us throughout these very difficult days. You have shown us God’s love through Christ Jesus our Lord. We know there will be more tears and moments of grief. We realize this is the reality of life. We are all but frail humans, on our way to eternal. Thank the Lord that the Son of God has gone before us; He is our victory and our hope! Glory to God!

Grace Church, your ministry to us at this time has been so comforting. Thank you for your great love and support. Your faithfulness to the Lord is a tremendous blessing to us. Thank you also to Pastor Jamin, Pastor Chuck, and to our deacons for your faithful service to our church family! Presently, Cheryl and I are taking care of family matters in Wilmington. Needless to say, we continue to need your prayers and support. Thank you for walking with us “through the valley of the shadow of death.” We love you and hope to see you soon.

This is the message I shared at Adam’s Memorial Service at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington. There were other things that came to my mind as I shared this message; they would not be included into this text.

Adam and Chandra have two sons, Austyn 13 and Cyler 10. We have set up a trust fund for their education. You can access it by going to our Grace Church website gracechurchnc.com. Find the ONLINE GIVING BUTTON and you will see the option to give to the MESHAW EDUCATION TRUST. Your financial gifts are deeply appreciated and will be used for our grandson’s educational needs. THANK YOU again for staying with us at this time. We love you and God bless you and yours!
