Dear Grace Church Family and Friends,

Let me begin today by reminding you that as children of God this world is not our home. At best, we are just passing through. Every promise that God has made to His church, He has fulfilled. Jesus said, “He was coming again.” I believe Him, and I believe you do as well. We are only temporary citizens of planet earth. The best is yet to come! At times it appears that our world is falling apart. And it is!!! The Apostle John described it this way in 1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. This is a good word for you as a Christian. It’s a firm word that we all can trust! Paul affirms this truth! He said, “Our citizenship is in heaven.” Hallelujah! How good is this? Jesus said, “I am coming again, and I will receive you unto Myself.” Wow, what a promise. Brothers and sisters, Jesus’ last words in the Revelation are, “Surely, I come quickly!” Keep your eyes on the heavens and your heart guarded by His Word. The best is yet to come!

Let me give you a brief reminder regarding our giving. You can bring your offerings by the church office (9:00AM – 3:00PM), you can mail your gifts to Grace Church 3551 S. Charles Blvd. 27858 or you can give online at gracechurchnc.com. Your faithfulness in giving honors the Lord’s work and is a testimony of your love for Christ. Even through these unusual days the Lord continues to bless His work through you. Remember our mission families as well! Their work has been impacted, but they are counting on our financial support. Thank you!

In response to Governor Cooper’s June 24th executive order, we will continue to follow our most recent guidelines for our Worship services. These guidelines are posted on our Grace Church website for your convenience. (gracechurchnc.com) Our Deacons and Safety Team will also continue to follow these guidelines. You are NOT required to wear a mask in our services. If you prefer wearing a mask, please do so. Your cooperation is deeply appreciated! If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Chuck Barber at 252-717-6466.

We would also like to remind you to please take your temperature before coming to our services. Anyone who has had a temperature of greater than 100 degrees in the previous twenty-four hours should stay home and watch online from our Grace Church Facebook Page.

Revelation 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Loving God and loving each other!
