Hello Grace Church Friends and Family!
REOPENING DAY is on the horizon! This Sunday morning we will reopen for worship together. At 9:00AM those 55 and over will gather for worship. At 11:00AM ALL others will meet for worship. If you are 55 and over and do not attend the 9:00AM, you are welcome to join us at the 11:00AM hour. I can’t wait to see you folks. This has been a trial, but the Lord is still on the throne and in charge! Our faith hasn’t wavered! It’s time to worship together as the body of Christ. Please refer to the Reopening Guidelines that were mailed to you. You can also find our Reopening Guidelines on our website gracechurchnc.com. Pastor Chuck is coordinating our Reopening with our Deacons and Safety Team. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. We are excited about seeing everyone. Your safety is paramount in our thinking and planning! I will see you Sunday.
Our Grace Church SUNDAY FACEBOOK LIVE Service will be online at 11:00AM. Many of you have asked about our online services. We plan to continue them for those that are unable to join us in our services at Grace Church. The response to our FBLive services has been a huge blessing to our church. Weekly we are seeing people from Greenville and other areas join us online. Your families and friends are joining us weekly. Praise the Lord!!! Over the past few months the Gospel has gone forth online. Mark Zuckerberg (Founder of Facebook) has become a world renowned evangelist. The Word of God has been spread to every corner of the world through FACEBOOK LIVE! How amazing is that?
The other day I saw an older man pulled off the road in a busy intersection. Just as I passed him, headed in the opposite direction, I saw two young country boys in a pickup truck turn the curve. I thought to myself, “Those boys will stop and help the guy with the broken boat trailer.” Sure enough they did! I saw them out of the corner of my eye. Again, I thought, “This is America; we help each other!” What a sight! I feel the same way about our church as we have faced this COVID-19 crisis. YOU STOPPED, and YOU HELPED! God bless you! I get emotional when I think about how you charged into the fight to take care of your church and its financial needs. GOD BLESS YOU! I will carry these memories for a long time! You didn’t sit down or run away! You ran to the need! You have been amazing! You have been so supportive! I love you and deeply appreciate all you have given!
