It’s day three that Bob has been home.  We thank and praise God that he can feed himself and walk with the help of a walker, and with lots of help from Matt and I encouraging him.

We will be having PT come in and work on his getting back his strength, OT will help with teaching him how to dress himself and take care of his personal needs.  An aide will help him shower and shave, and the nurse will come once a week to access his health.  So I am going to be having lots of help.
Matt has been such a blessing to us because he’s been here helping and supporting both of us.  Matthew means “gift of God” and he has certainly lived up to his name all his life.
The word for today is from Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”  The Lord is the third strand and He assures us we will not be overpowered by this unexpected situation.  He will defend us from from the depression, despair,  and disappointment Satan would love to throw at us.  Our Cord is strong through your prayers and our faithful Lord who meets all our needs.
