Living for Jesus is a challenge. Life offers us all kinds of options. When we make bad choices the cost can be devastating! Sometimes it takes years, maybe even decades to put things back together after making a bad, self-centered decision. Jesus made it clear that He lived His life for others. Jesus always put others before Himself. In a very real sense, Jesus showed us what it is like to life for Someone and something bigger than ourselves. Jesus gave us clear direction when it comes to life and our priorities. Jesus said in,  Matthew 6:33-34 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. It has been said, “We were not made to live here forever!” Since we don’t have much time… let’s live for Christ and His Kingdom! Let’s determine to follow Jesus. Obviously, everyone will not support us; but the Lord will and He’s the only one that really counts! We have nothing to prove and only one to please, and that’s the LORD! Keep Jesus first in everything!!!

Our GRACE CHURCH THANKSGIVING FAMILY DINNER is next Tuesday, November 22 at 6:30PM. This time together is always a great time of fellowship. I guarantee that you will laugh and maybe even shed a few tears of thanksgiving. Every time we get together around Thanksgiving special things always happen. This year we will be sharing our Grace Church Ministry Theme for 2017. I can’t tell you right now what it is but I will tell you next Tuesday, 11/22 at our Thanksgiving Dinner. Please signup online at (gracechurchnc.com) or in your Sunday Bible Study time. You can also signup at the Welcome Center. I promise you a blessing! There is also room for you to bring a guest. These are great days to point people to the Lord. The Lord will lead you to someone… ask Him!

Cheryl and I are so thankful for our Grace Church family! The Lord continues to send us new people. Keep your eyes open in the services for our new friends. Make sure you greet them and help them in any way possible. Let the Lord use you! The Lord sends people our way for a reason. The Lord is using us to reach Greenville. He wants us to grow together in grace and in the knowledge of Christ! Make much of Christ and He will use you to bring people to Himself!

Psalm 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

Thankful!
