Recently Cheryl told me I should go to Sam’s and get a hotdog. She said, “They were good, you’ll like it.” So yesterday I did. But I didn’t get the hotdog, I got a chicken sandwich. Get the hotdog if you go… the chicken sandwich isn’t very good. After I picked up my food I did something I have been wanting to do. I looked around, I saw a black man seated by himself. So I walked up to his table and said, “Sir, do you mind if I eat with you?’ He said, “No, not at all!” We exchanged names, his name was Rodney, he was from New Jersey. I asked Rodney if I could pray. He said , “I’ll pray.” And Rodney prayed like he knew Jesus! So there I am, at Sam’s eating a not so tasty chicken sandwich with a black man that I did not know! I could have just walked by Rodney, but I didn’t! I chose to share my life with him and he chose to share his life with me! I made new a new friend in the process. Let’s be open with our faith and with our lives! You never know who you might meet! I am glad I met Rodney!!! There is no telling how many people we pass everyday that would actually enjoy talking to someone, maybe even about Jesus! Take a chance, meet someone knew and let the Lord open the door for you to share Jesus! Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
