Awana

What is Awana

Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-­term discipleship programs for ages 3 to 18 (ends at 12th grade level) that actively involves parents and church leaders. Offered through local churches, Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. For more information, please check out their website down below:

The Mission of Awana is to equip leaders to reach kids with the Gospel and to engage them in lifelong discipleship.

Our Vision

The Vision and Prayer of Awana is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Clubs

Cubbies- Pre School

Cubbies® nurtures the budding faith of preschoolers and celebrates their desire to explore all that God has created. This two year ministry curriculum features exciting games, storytelling, puppet shows, and biblical teaching as well as take-home activities and tools.

Sparks- Early Elementary

Sparks® ignites a child’s curiosity about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. This three year ministry curriculum features exciting games, engaging activities, biblical teaching and media resources for kids and leaders.

T&T- Upper elementary

T&T® explores the concept of grace by focusing on the character and nature of God, identity of Christ, as well as the structure and format of the Bible. This four year ministry curriculum is created to ensure that kids and leaders connect through God's Word.

Journey- Highschool

Journey® empowers students to live with Godly perspective and evident faith. This four year curriculum teaches students what it means to hold firm to Biblical convictions while still engaging in humble diaglogue with the culture around us.

Trek- Middle School

Trek® helps students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer the tough questions about who they are and why they are here. This three year curriculum features biblically rich content, engaging interactions and practical application for their lives.

Where to Start

The Grace Church Awana program meets throughout the school year at 5pm in the sanctuary.

New members are encouraged to join any time. Club membership registration begins in late summer and continues throughout the club year.

In order to keep our clubbers and leaders safe, we have a private Facebook group for our Awana Clubs and a distribution email group. If your are interested in being added to the Facebook group and/or email group, please see your leader or David and Kristin Stahl. 

We will post pictures, group topics, discussions, calendar events, and any cancelations of meetings through Facebook and email.
