Hello Grace Church!

What a beautiful day! The Lord made it, so let’s enjoy it to the fullest! What a great God we serve. He’s always faithful and good. He’s totally and completely trustworthy! He never fails us! He loved us first! Take a moment to reflect on how good He has been to you today and this week. Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

Sundays belong to the Lord. We always honor our Lord through worship and praise. Plan now to be in church tomorrow with your family. What an awesome sight, families seated together in the House of the Lord! Make that call and invite your friends to join you at Grace Church in the morning. If work prohibits you from coming in the morning, AWANA begins Sunday evenings at 5:00PM, and our adult JOB study at 5:15PM. Last Sunday we had a nice group of 23 for our JOB adventure. We always have great fellowship too! Come on in and enjoy a time in God’s Word with us!

Our annual HOMECOMING SUNDAY is October 6th. We’ll have our regular Bible Study time at 9:45AM with Worship to follow at 11:00AM. This is always a fun time together. Our church was founded in the early 50’s. We have a long and storied history here in Pitt County. The church moved to our present site in 1987. As you can imagine, it took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to purchase and build our beautiful church. We actually have one original member still attending Grace Church. Mr. Billy Peede was just a boy when his parents helped plant Grace Church. It’s a great story with prayer meetings being at the center of the church. As I said earlier, the Lord is good. Please think about that today! HOMECOMING is always special. You will want to bring friends and family with you on this Sunday. Our special guests are Pastor Scott and Sarah Wills from Pennsylvania. They are delightful people! You will their family! More will be said about this in our Sunday services.

Prayers are always appreciated for those in need of healing from the Lord. Our nation is in great need of prayers! We have families in need as well. Angela Tucker and Darlene Wade are recovering for recent surgeries. We thank the Lord that AWANA and Word of Life are off to a great start. I’m thankful that the Lord is at work in many areas around Grace Church. HE IS GOOD!
