Hello Grace Church Family and Friends!
I hope everyone is doing well! It’s been a busy and a rainy week that’s for sure! We’ll count those showers as blessings from the Lord. He is good! We can certainly trust Him!
Tomorrow is Chuck and Judy’s last Sunday with us at Grace Church. Their last day of ministry will be this coming Wednesday evening (7/31/24). Please do everything you can to be here for our Sunday Morning Worship. We’ve planned some special things for the Barbers. They have been here since 2017! They have been used greatly of the Lord throughout our ministry here. We will honor them and celebrate their investment in the Lord’s work at Grace Church. It would be a tremendous blessing to have a full house here to let them know how much we love and appreciate their good work for the Lord. I’ve personally known them for many years now. Pastor Jamin and I served on Chuck’s Ministry Ordination Council many years ago now. Simply put, they are loved and appreciated. It is good and right to honor them for their service. Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV) God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Make every effort to be here!
Also, after our Morning Worship service we will be hosting a “POTLUCK” style lunch. Please bring a main dish and side dish. We’re expecting a good crowd and want to have enough food for everyone present. Remember dessert too! 😉 please feel free to invite your family and friends. It’s going to be a special day together. Lunch will be served immediately following our time of worship!
The message tomorrow is entitled, “THE GOSPEL… A SURRENDERED LIFE” from Romans 12:1-2. What a great day for such a message! Pray with me about the services. Pray for Pastor Chuck and Judy too. We will hear from them tomorrow as well. As I said, it’s going to be a wonderful time of worship together. Again, we are so thankful for Chuck and Judy. Their faithfulness to Christ and friendship in the Lord means so much to us all!
