Grace Church Prayer/Service Update ~ January 28, 2024

Hello Grace Church Friends and Family,

What a beautiful day! I know you enjoyed it. Tomorrow is going to be a great day of praise and worship at Grace Church. We have so much to be thankful for. In the morning service Anthony Willis has an update from our Faith Promise Missions Team. Our team includes: Anthony and Lori Willis, Cheryl Meshaw, Chuck Barber, Roger Thorpe, Rhonda Pettitt, Becky Preston and Darlene Wade. It’s amazing what the Lord is doing. You’ll meet the entire team in the service. Thank you for your generous giving when it comes to our missions ministry. You’re going to be blessed as you hear this report. Pastor Jamin will be bringing the message from Colossians 1. Worshipping the Lord together is a beautiful thing.  Psalm 150:6 Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

This coming Wednesday evening we’re having a POTLUCK DINNER at 5:30pm. Our Business Meeting will begin at 6:30pm. The Lord blessed us in 2023. Our Treasurer, Henry Postel will share this awesome report with you! Our new deacon Chairman, Anthony Willis will lead this meeting. Josh Walker is our Deacon Co-chair for 2024. I appreciate our deacons, their wives and families as well. This is going to be a great meeting. We will also present to you an updated Grace Church Doctrinal Statement. It has been many years since we have updated this very important document. Please be in your place to consider the truths. Many churches are bowing to the culture and refuse to take a doctrinal stand. We all should take seriously the doctrinal teaching and preaching at our church. I hope to see you there. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

PRAY FOR THESE NEEDS: Christy Young (cancer), David Jordan Family (David’s Mother passed), people to be saved in our services, spiritual growth of our church family, Eddie Walker (recovering from stroke), Rick Via (India), Tom McCracken (physical need), Ron Blake job, Todd Simpson job, James Tripp job, Philip Elliot job, Diane Stokes (Mother in law), families in crisis, our friends and family members that are unsaved, and ECU/PCC students that need Jesus. I realize you have other cares and burdens. You can forward those to me at michmeshaw@hotmail. Tom Mesing’s Prayer Group is praying tomorrow morning. Our Lord tells us to pray and not to quit! We’re together on this!

The Carolina Pregnancy Center is having their annual “BABY BOTTLE” fundraiser. The bottles are available in our church lobby. We have supported the CPC over two decades. Their work is crucial in our community. Saving babies matters! Grab a bottle and do what you can to help this wonderful ministry. Thank you in advance for your support.

Remember what Jesus said in John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if you have love one to another.

God bless you as you prepare for church tomorrow. The Lord is good… ALWAYS!
