Hello Grace Church!
I hope you’re doing well today! The showers are great… blessings from the Lord. He is good! You’re invited to join us tomorrow for Bible study at 9:45am and for Worship at 11:00am. Our Sunday School is almost finished with the Gospel of Mark. On Sunday, November 5th we begin our new study in Genesis. You will enjoy the book of Genesis. If you’re not in a class, this would be a great time to join one. Tomorrow’s message is entitled, “Savoring the Things of God!” I’m going to track the history on missions into the book of Acts! I appreciate your prayers.
Pray with me over these needs:  2023 ENGAGE MISSIONS CONFERENCE (Rick Via preaching), Rick Via and mission team in Guatemala, Pat Colston (Home), Beverly Myers cancer (very serious), Jerry Long (home recovering from cancer surgery), Jenney Vangritus (cancer), Laurie Huffman surgery recovery, Christy Young, Becky Thorpe (surgery recovering), Jon Bowman heart surgery. Please feel free to text me or call me with your requests at 252-341-4017.

I also want to take a minute to encourage you to be faithful in your witness for Jesus. As Jesus sent out His disciples, so He sends us out as well. Be generous as you give to our church ministry and to our Faith Promise Missions. It’s always a great time to sow the Lord’s blessings back into His work. I’ve never had anyone tell me that they were sorry that they gave to the Lord. Paul encourages us in to be generous in giving to the Lord’s work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (KJV) But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. The Macedonians were among Paul’s poorest converts; yet they were counted among the most generous in their giving. You can go to gracechurchnc.com and designate your offering for Faith Promise Missions. As a young couple Cheryl and I promised the Lord we would support His work around the world. As you know, that was over 50 years ago now. WE’VE NEVER MISSED IT! God is faithful!

Our ENGAGE Missions Conference is fast approaching. It begins on Friday, October 27th and goes through Sunday, October 29th. You can pick up a schedule tomorrow. You can also signup for Friday’s dinner at 5:45pm and Saturday’s lunch. Don’t miss it! Missions exist because worship doesn’t. Someone was on mission when you came to Christ. Just as the Father sent Jesus into the world… so, Jesus sends us into the world. Make a difference for the cause of Christ! Blessings!

Together is better!
