Good evening praying friends,
These are indeed days filled with wonderful opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel. It’s been amazing how the Lord has opened doors before me to share my faith. It doesn’t always work this way, but over the past few days it has. I was sharing the Gospel with a man named Rich. He asked some great questions. It amazed him that I would take the time to answer his questions. He had lots of questions. As I was sharing with Rich a young lady sitting behind us overheard our conversation and asked if I would share the same story with her (the Gospel story). Needless to say, I enjoyed every minute of it. I gave my testimony and passed out a couple of Gospel tracts as well. They listened intently and were very respectful. Angelina and Rich thanked me for sharing the story of Jesus with them. I can’t save anyone but the Lord can. I’m delighted to leave that in His hands.
Tomorrow we will gather around the Lord’s Table for Communion. Pastor Chuck will read the Scriptures, and we will receive the bread and the cup together. Jesus said, This do in remembrance of Me. Once a month we gather as a church family and remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Notice I said, All sin! What a thought! We’ve been forgiven and set free from all of our sins. What a Friend we have in Jesus; all our sins and griefs to bear! The songwriter was right!!! We’ve been bought with a price, the precious blood of Christ. Thank the Lord for His amazing grace that saved us from our sins.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
