Hello Praying Friends,

I trust you’ve enjoyed your day! Thank the Lord for His faithfulness to us as His church. This is a parallel Scripture for our message tomorrow from James 4:1-6. 1 Peter 5:5-9 (ESV) Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.  Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

You might want to read James 4:1-6 too. Godly wisdom is essential for us to live by! It applies to everything we do as the Lord’s church. We are planning two baptisms for the Morning Worship Service. Join us; you’ll be blessed as these two young men make their faith public through the waters of baptism. I’m excited about this!!!

Again, thank for your prayers for the Word going forth in the morning. God is reaching into our hearts each week through James’ powerfully penetrating words.

Enjoy your evening!
