Hello Grace Church Friends and Family,
Jesus said that we are to pray and not to give up! What a challenge. You have challenges, and I have challenges… we all have trials and temptations. Our study in James has laid these truths before us. What does James offer us as an answer? PRAYER! There you have it! Let’s pray! Let’s bow before our Heavenly Father. Let’s cry out to Him, and He will hear us! Our Lord can be trusted! What a great God we serve. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you.
Here are a few things to pray about: Doris Weathersby physical needs, JB and Elsie Nichols physical needs, Billy Peede healing from surgery, Scott Murphy upcoming surgery, Todd Simpson personal needs, Hope is Alive brother and sisters, David Stahl, Luke Wills, DivorceCare friends, families in need, services tomorrow, Sunday Bible study at 9:45am, missionary needs, Judy Redifer physical needs, friends invited to church, preaching tomorrow, Herchenhahn family grieving, Weston family grieving, pastor friends and families. Please add others and forward them to me @ michmeshaw@hotmail.com. Remember you can also follow us on gracechurchnc.com. or on our Grace Church Facebook page. (See Pastor’s Blog)
Tomorrow’s message is entitled, “EAGER LISTENERS… FERVERT DOERS” from James 1:19-27. James is encouraging us to spiritual maturity in a very challenging way. I never take your prayers for granted. I love you all! We will also have Communion during our 11:00am Worship Service.
1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Enjoy your day!
