Good evening praying friends,
Today I preached the Memorial Service for Pastor Jim Herchenhahn. I was saved in 1968, and he became the pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington in 1971. That’s a long time! I’m so thankful for Pastor and his wife Jean. They have a precious family. They loved and served my family for decades. There is rejoicing in heaven tonight… Pastor Herchenhahn was a faithful man of God… a servant of the Lord and to His people. He finished faithful!
Pray for Billy Peede, David Stahl, David Williams, Doris Weathersby, Judy Redifer, Scott Murphy, the Herchenhahn family, JB and Elsie Nichols, and for our services for tomorrow. The Hope Is Alive Home always needs our prayers and support. We are putting together some Sunday Prayer Teams to meet after Bible Study to pray for the services. See Tom Mesing of you would like to participate. Prayer Matters!!! Your prayers for our church family really do make a difference.
Zechariah 4:6 Then He said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Many of our mothers are in heaven with Jesus. Please take some time tomorrow to bless your mother! She will appreciate it! The Lord is good! He watches over us. Many times, He watches over us by giving us a loving mother to care for us. No parent is perfect, we all realize that. But at the same time, the Lord tells us to honor our parents. Trust the Lord and He will bless your life! GUARANTEED!
I love you all! I’m looking forward to our worship time in the morning. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS!!!
