Hello Grace Church Family and Friends,

Tomorrow is PALM SUNDAY! It’s considered the beginning of the PASSION WEEK; the last week of Jesus’ life. The glory of His Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem descends into days of condemnation and cruelty. From a human perspective Jesus’ last hours are nothing to be proud of. After Jesus is questioned and ridiculed, He is found guilty of blasphemy by the Jewish High Court and then sent to the Romans for judgment. His TIME has come! Within hours Jesus will suffer horrible beatings, with blood pouring from His body He has a cross to carry. He carried it for you and me. 1 Peter 3:18 says, For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the JUST for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit (resurrected)!

We will be sharing in Communion as brothers and sisters in our Morning Worship Service. Please be in your place! Pray about who you can invite to join you for the service. I promise you this. The focus will be upon Jesus and His willingness to offer Himself up as a sacrifice for our sins. His love for you has no bounds!!! His heart was set on finishing the work His Father had given Him to do. We’ve been instructed as His church to “Remember His death until He returns.” Everything in our service will point us to the death of Christ for our sins. Let’s never forget what Jesus did to set us free from death, hell and the grave! Jesus’ body was broken, and His blood was shed to pay a debt He did not owe. It was your debt and mine, yet He died as our Substitute. What a Savior and Redeemer! Rejoice with me in these words of Jesus from the cross. John 19:30 (KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.

Two of Jesus’ disciples will be portrayed in our service as well. Judas (Nathan Beeker) and Thomas (Josh Walker) will share their experience with Jesus from His last Passover Feast. Much has been written and said about the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life. We will hear from two of the Twelve about what happened during their final intimate hours with Jesus. Don’t miss it! Our GC Choir will also be presenting some beautiful worship music. Tomorrow’s PALM SUNDAY Service will set the tone for this coming Passion Week and EASTER SUNDAY!

Enjoy your day! Let others see Jesus in you! Cheryl and I will see you at 9:45AM for our Bible Study time and for Worship at 11:00AM. 1 John 4:19 (KJV) We love Him, because He first loved us.

Enjoy your day! Let Jesus be seen in you!
