I will pray over it tonight! Trusting the Lord in this tough season of life and church life is a necessity! Genesis 15:1 (KJV) After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. I want to encourage you to pray tonight. We all have sick friends and family members. Some have covid, while others have the usual cold or flu. Most are recovering at home. Chuck Wadley is at Vidant [Not Covid]. Please pray for him. He is very weak. I have spoken with a number of people today… some have contacted me to share their requests. PRAYER is for every Christian. Jesus taught His disciples to pray for obvious reasons. His example was their example and ours as well. Prayer is for every child of God. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE cares for you.
Tomorrow [Bible Study 9:45AM & 11:00AM] I will pick up again on The Armor of God series from Ephesians 6:16 “The Shield of Faith.” What a powerful text! I hope you can join us. You might want to read the passage so you can be familiar with it and refresh your thinking about the series. [Ephesians 6:10-20] Ephesians 6:16 (KJV) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
As I mentioned earlier, thank you for your faithfulness in prayer. Pray for your family and friends that have obvious needs. They will no doubt appreciate your heart felt prayers on their behalf. Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
