GRACE CHURCH PRAYER UPDATE 1-9-2022

Dear Grace Church!

THANK YOU for your steadfast love for the Lord and His church. There are challenges from many sides. But we will not fold… we will hold onto to our Lord and our faith. The early church faced many challenges, as do we. I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to seeing you consistently and worshipping with you. THANK YOU for hanging in there! 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Join me in praying for these folks tonight. JB Nichols, Billy and Sandra Peede. Ray and Rosie Evans, Chuck Wadley, Matt and Britt’s baby [doing well], David Stahl family, Chuck [Some better] and Judy Barber, Pat Hoffman, Perry Hardee [Much better], Ken Smith, Mary Tyson [Brother passed away], Bill Stancill, Luke Wills, Becky Thorpe, Moye family, Schmid family, Eleanor Nydam, Brittney Russ, Lin Almond [ER but doing better], pastors, missionaries and churches struggling during pandemic, missionaries in dangerous situations overseas. One of our missionaries is in a dangerous situation where Russian troops are present.  1 Peter 5:7-8 (KJV) Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. PRAYER MATTERS!

It’s very important that we stay connected during these days. In the morning during our 11:00AM Worship Service we are ordaining Tom Mesing as a new deacon. Tom, and his wife Patti are dedicated followers of Christ. We added five new deacons this year. We had five rotate off so we added five new deacon families. I am looking forward to serving with these great folks. Bible study will begin tomorrow at 9:45AM as usual. THERE WILL NO AWANA OR EVENING SERVICE TOMORROW NIGHT. Pastor Chuck said due to some of our workers being sick we will restart AWANA next Sunday evening at 5:00PM. Thank you for your faithful support for these much needed ministries.

Many of us know people who have had covid and other sicknesses. Let’s be faithful and help where we can! Let’s pray for the ones mentioned above and for others you may know

Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Serving Jesus without Fear!
