2021 HOMECOMING SERVICE UPDATE

Hello Grace Church Family and Friends,

HOMECOMING 2021 IS THIS SUNDAY! Join us for Sunday School at 9:45AM and for our 2021 HOMECOMING WORSHIP SERVICE at 11:00AM. Our special speaker is one of our own. Nathan Ricks, one of our teenagers, is going to bring our HOMECOMING message. His Scripture is Luke 10:25-37 the parable of The Good Samaritan. You will be blessed by Nathan’s message. Our young people will also sing for us. I am so proud of young people! Also, our Grace Church Choir will be singing and Kristin Stahl will present a special song as well. It’s going to be a Christ honoring day all around!!! You’re invited to enjoy lunch with us after the morning service. Bring your Sunday lunch [main dish, side dish, and of course dessert] to share with others. As you can imagine I’m excited about the services. I can’t wait to see you. By all means, invite your family and friends. There will be seating for everyone!

PRAYER is an important part of church life. Pray for Eddie Hilliard, Faye Barber, Pat Hoffman, Kelley Pruitt, Becky Thorpe, Dave Pettitt, JB Nichols, DR Daniels and others with physical needs. The Lord is faithful to answer our prayers. James says, “You have not, because you ask not.” I’m trusting the Lord with these and others that need healing from the Lord. Some still struggle with the grief of losing a loved one. As brothers and sisters, we should “Rejoice with them that rejoice, and weep with them that weep.” The Lord works through us as we share in the good times and the bad times together. I’m glad I’m not alone. I know you feel the same way! Listen to Romans 12:12 (KJV) Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. Again, I’m thankful that we walk the Christian pathway together.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your week. THANK YOU for faithfully giving to support our ministry here at Grace Church. It’s amazing seeing how the Lord provides for the needs of our missionaries and for the needs of our church. Generosity is the mark of a loving church. As the Lord provides for our family needs, He also provides for the needs of His church. Through Covid you have continued to give. What a huge blessing. As you know, we have not passed an offering plate since March of 2020, and yes, you’ve given faithfully. The Lord loves cheerful givers. That’s you and me! God bless you all!

1 Corinthians 16:24 (KJV) My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Enjoy your weekend. A wonderful Sunday is before us… see you then!
