Dear Praying Friends,

The Lord is good! As we have prayed, He has answered our prayers. This week He has answered a number of my prayers for healing and help with decisions where His guidance is needed. I am still praying for Amy King in Wilmington. Amy has been seriously ill for almost one week. Please join me and pray for her total and complete healing! I have assured my pastor friend Aaron, Amy’s husband that his brothers and sister are praying. We must not stop until we see the Lord’s work in Aaron and Amy’s life. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE cares for you! United prayers touch the heart of our Lord. Please keep praying! Also, join me and pray for our services tomorrow. We have made a deliberate decision to have a prayer time in our services. These are important times in the life of our church family. Tomorrow will be no different. United prayers are powerful. Having our hearts bound together to seek the will of our Heavenly Father is crucial. Thank you again for your commitment to prayer. We all need it… our churches need it, and our nation needs it!

1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

In our morning service I will continue our series from Habakkuk. This is an eye-opening series of messages from this book of just three chapters. It’s also a soul-searching revelation for each of us to contemplate as we see what is going on around us. It’s hard to say that I have enjoyed the messages because they are so convicting. I do know this. I have been convicted about my complacency regarding prayer. I’m working on Paul’s challenge to “pray without ceasing.” You can join me… I need company!!!

Tomorrow our missionary Carmen Moyer will share her upcoming plans. We have watched her grow in grace. What a joy to support servants like Carmen! Pray for her this evening as well!

Know this, you are loved and appreciated! Keep praying… seek the Lord! He’s faithful… always faithful.  God bless you!!!
