Dear Grace Church Family and Friends,
Showers of blessings are falling all over us! We needed rain and now we have it! Rejoice with me over the goodness of our Lord! The Psalmist tells us that “The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.” Prayer opens many doors before us as God’s children. The Bible is clear; the Lord cares for His own. Blessed be the name of the Lord! His promises are abundant! His faithfulness is sure! He’s the Lord of heaven and of earth! He watches over His own!!!
Our Sunday Worship Services will focus on prayer. There is one thing for sure, we all need prayer and we all need to pray more! Paul told his brothers and sisters in Thessalonica to “pray without ceasing.” The Lord wants us all to pray. He wants to fellowship with us. How? Through prayer! My prayer life reflects my intimacy with the Lord. Pray for our Sunday services. My message will focus on our call to pray as the church of God. The early church was birthed in prayer. The early church survived intense persecution through prayer. The Gospel mission of the first century was grounded in prayer. We all need to pray. Sunday is going to be a wonderful time together as we seek the Lord in prayer.
Enjoy your weekend! We look forward to being with you and your families. Remember… Jeremiah 10:6 says, Forasmuch as there is none like unto Thee, O LORD; Thou art great, and Thy name is great in might. Later in his prophecy, Jeremiah declared in Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. As the children of God let’s claim these verses of assurance. We can pray with absolute confidence that the Lord hears and answers our prayers!
We will pray together Sunday! God bless you!
