Dear Praying Friends,
I trust you have had a good week! Thank the Lord for His goodness and grace! He watches over us every day! Aren’t you glad we can trust HIM? Take a minute and rejoice with me and give glory to our GOD! Isaiah 42:8 (KJV) I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 45:5 (KJV) I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. As we reflect upon our GOD let’s remember to bow down and worship Him. We rush around too much, don’t we? Thank you for taking a little time to give the Lord the glory due His name!
Yesterday late my nephew Todd called me and told me that his dad, my brother had passed away. This was totally unexpected. Pray for our family. I have three brothers. Greg was 67, and leaves Todd and his sister Laura and three grandchildren. Greg has had a tough time since his wife Cindy passed away over 10 years ago. He’s certainly had his demons as we all do. Greg lived in Wilmington so it had been some days ago since I had seen him. Thank you for praying. His Memorial Service will be scheduled with the week. I know Greg is with Jesus, which is very comforting. We’ve shared many conversations about his faith in Christ. He was the only one of us that could sing. Maybe he’s in heaven’s choir at this moment! God bless you all.
Thank you for being my prayer partners. I share things here that I don’t normally share. I appreciate deeply the fact that you allow me to share with you. I’m convinced that we pray far too little. This time may make an eternal difference for someone you know; maybe even for someone you don’t know. Let’s just keep praying! Love you all!
Here are a few more names for your prayers tonight: Kenneth Smith, John Quick, Pat Hoffman, Todd Meshaw, Laura Meshaw, Carrie Adkins, James Byakika [Uganda SLM missionary]
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (KJV) Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
