The Lord gives me many opportunities each week to share the Gospel. Most of the time these doors open during conversations when people need answers for problems they face. You might assume that these people are all Christians. That is not the case… many are people that do not profess Christ nor do they attend church. So when I say opportunities I mean just that! So what do I do? I turn to God’s Word! They listen as I share the Good News of the Gospel and how it applies to their lives! Recently someone sent me these words from Ravi Zacharias, “Do not underestimate the role you may play in clearing obstacles in someone’s spiritual journey. A seed sown here, a light shone there may be all that is needed to move the seeker or skeptic one step further.” Think about what I am saying here. As a Christian, be prepared to answer people’s questions! They need your help, but most of all they need hope! The Apostle Peter put it this way in 1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”
In our Sunday Evening Worship Service our special guests will be Clay and Danielle Gibbons. They are our missionaries to Britain (UK). Clay and Danielle have faithfully pursued God’s will for their family. They have their support and the proper papers and are leaving for their field within a short period of time. Your presence here Sunday evening at 5:30PM would bless their family! Plan to be here in the service. We have some special music planned as well… don’t miss it!
Remember there is no Wednesday evening dinner scheduled. We will have Pot Luck dinners once a month through June, July and August. Our Wednesday evening dinners will resume in September. Our Wednesday Pot Luck dinners provide a great time of fellowship… please join us. The dates are listed on our bulletin tab!
God bless you… see you tonight for Bible study at 6:30PM.
Christ Above All!
