Yesterday (Friday-4/10/15) morning I read these words, “Lauren Hill, who beat the odds by playing college basketball this fall despite her inoperable brain tumor, has died. She was 19.” This teenager lived life to the fullest. She was determined not to give up and she didn’t! Her view of life inspires me as a believer! I hope it touches you as well. The Apostle Paul also saw himself as a victor and not a victim! Like Lauren, Paul knew his time was soon. And like Lauren, Paul faced death knowing he would soon enter the presence of the Lord! Notice his claim, 2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I want to live today just as Lauren and the Apostle lived their last. No giving up or giving in, but with an eye to seeing Jesus! Live brothers and live sisters… Jesus is our HOPE!
