Nothing could be finer than fall in Carolina! AND just think the Word says, This is the day the LORD has made we will rejoice and be glad in it! I am sure past generations have thought they were living in the best times of history. I believe we are!!! Here’s why. We have Jesus on our best days and we have Jesus on our worst days! I heard someone say this week, “The world is falling apart around us!” At times I believe that myself! Then I consider that we have read the last chapter… Revelation 22:20-21 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. As Paul said to his Thessalonian brothers and sisters, 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. On top of that Jesus said in John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. YES, today is the day the Lord has made!
JONAH continues this Sunday morning, “A Second Chance… At God’s First Priority,” from Jonah 3! God is the God of a second chance! We all know this to be true and we are happy for it! We fail… He forgives! We mess up… and He makes up for it! We break up and He puts us back together! We run and He chases us! What a Great God we serve. The songwriter says, “His love never fails, He never gives up on me.” Jonah’s greatest service was wrapped up in his coming back to the Lord. If you are running from the Lord, come back today and see how God uses you! You will be overwhelmed by your gracious LORD!
